Found barefoot, in a torn shirt
When our Executive Director visited Akosua’s school, he found a Basic 4 pupil with no uniform, no shoes, no socks, and no bowl for her meal. He called for an immediate intervention. Today, everything Akosua owns for school her uniform, her shoes, her bowl carries her name.

Look at her now. Akosua stands a little taller, a little prouder, in a uniform that is fully hers — no more torn shirt, no more bare feet. With socks on her legs, new shoes on her feet, and a bowl in her hand for her daily meal, she is simply a happy child, ready to learn like every child deserves to be.
